Important to Know

At Asterique Technology Solutions, we want to give our customers the best shopping experience. That’s why we believe our store policies should be fair, clear, and transparent. Read about warranty information and our return and refund policies below. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Warranty Policy

All warranty claims must be pre-arranged first by contacting us.

If you believe the product you have purchased is a warranty claim, please contact our Customer Service team via email: info@asterique.com for a Return Authorisation.

All refurbished equipment supplied by Asterique Tech Solutions are covered by the limited warranty which lasts for 180 days and begins on the date of purchase indicated on your invoice. The warranty period is not extended if we replace a warranted product or any part(s)

The warranty does cover:


  1. Only items which are specifically described as having a warranty period are covered by the Asterique Tech Solutions warranty.

  2. This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the hardware products sold by Asterique Tech Solutions on a part-by-part basis.


 The warranty does not cover: 

​

  1. Consumable parts of the item being sold (e.g. laptop batteries). Batteries are tested to hold charge however as they are used batteries Asterique Tech Solutions cannot promise or commit to a minimum battery discharge/run time.

  2. Batteries will be replaced if it has been found to be in a non-functional condition (ie. does not hold any charge) and the fault is reported in the first 7 days after purchase.

  3. Items damaged in transit.

  4. Defects and malfunctions resulting from viruses, lock ups, general protection faults or operating system errors.

  5. Compatibility problems - it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the item purchased will be compatible for use with their existing hardware and systems.

  6. Any defects or damage as a result of using this item in a manner other than its intended or customary use.

  7. Any defects or damage which have been caused by abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, unauthorised modifications, unauthorised connections, unauthorised repair, neglect, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, including damage caused by freight, blown fuses, electrical fluctuations, spillage of food or liquid or any other acts which are not the fault of Asterique Tech Solutions.

  8. Breakage or damage to the casing.

  9. All plastic surfaces and all other externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal customer use.

  10. Consumable components of the item.

  11. Items which have had the serial number removed or made illegible.

  12. Damage resulting from use of non-standard accessories.

  13. Items which have been damaged in transit on return to Asterique Tech Solutions.

  14. Items where the Asterique Warranty security seal has been removed or tampered with in any way.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from Asterique’s responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware is limited as set forth in this warranty statement. All express and implied warranties for the product, including but not limited to any implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of the limited warranty period set forth herein. No warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after the limited warranty period has expired.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us for a Return Authorisation. 

Make sure the items are in their original condition within 30 days of receipt.

All returns or exchanges must be pre-arranged first by contacting our Customer Service team via email: info@asterique.com

If you have collected  a device which is different from what you have ordered and you seek a refund; we will provide you with a return authorisation number to return the goods to us. 

If you change your mind and seek a refund, we will require you to return the item covering the postage charges. A refund minus original postage charges and a 25% restocking fee will be confirmed once the product has been received, and products have been deemed to be in resalable condition. 

If the item is defective, has a major problem, is significantly different from the description or is unsafe, you are entitled to a refund, replacement or be compensated for the drop in value.

If the item has a minor problem, the item will be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time.

All items returned to Asterique Tech Solutions must be shipped in the original packaging. Damage as a result of incorrect packaging / damage in transit will need to be paid for by the sender.

Exchanges Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us for a Return Authorisation.

If we have sent you the wrong product, please let us know and we will happily exchange the order, covering all postage costs.

If you change your mind, or decide that a device needs to be changed, we will happily exchange the product over for you. But the shipping costs for you to return the product will not be covered, or the additional delivery costs.
